From Krabi International Airport (all year round)

Krabi International Airport is the closest airport to Ko Lanta. There are several flights a day between Bangkok and Krabi. Transport can be arranged direct to Narima from Krabi airport all year round.

Private minivan
- 2,700 baht/car (up to four passengers)
- any extra passenger is 200 baht/person (maximum to six passengers per car)
Public/Shared Minivan

Please note that minivan transfers are generally more crowded and less comfortable than private minivan.

Private Minivan from Krabi Airport

You can come to Narima by private minivan (2,700 baht/car). It takes about 1.5 – 2 hours. We can arrange it for you and the van driver will wait for you, with “Narima” or “Your name” sign, at the exit of the baggage claim in the airport. You will cross one car ferries from the main land to Koh Lanta Noi and a bridge from Koh Lanta Noi to Koh Lanta Yai. The traveling time depends more or less on waiting time for the car ferry. All prices of transfer may be changed without notice based on oil price in Thailand. Public/Shared Minivan from Krabi Airport

You can also come by public or shared minivan. The agency that can arrange the public minivan for you is “Guide M Travel & Tour Service” located in the airport area. The price is 400-450 baht/seat. The agent will bring to the pavilion in front of the main airport gate where you can wait for the public minivan. The minivan should leave from Krabi town every hour from 07:00 till 17:00. The driver is supposed to take you all the way to Narima.

By Ferry (high season only)

Ferries serve Ko Lanta from Krabi, Ko Phi Phi and Phuket and leave several times per day. Please note that the Ferries to Lanta only run during high season – from mid-October to early May.

Ferry tickets are available locally, either from the pier or local booking agents or at the resort.

By Road

Ko Lanta is accessible by road from Krabi, Phuket or Trang via one car ferry and one bridge. Minibuses run trips several times per day or you can book a private taxi. Transport can be arranged direct to Narima from Krabi, Phuket or Trang all year round. Journey time to Narima is approximately 2 – 2.5 hours from Krabi, 3 hours from Trang, or 4-5 hours from Phuket. This includes one ferry crossings.
